block tests are finally over!
it ended ystd for me actually.. :P
i had a great time with my grandmother today.
we went out to eat at Hajjah Maimunah's restaurant just now and bought some stuff..
ok its nothing much, but i had fun. (:
i bet she had a good time too.
but i bet she's kinda pissed off now because when we reached home, i didnt really do housework.. sims2 is freakin annoying. it's so addictive. i DONT wanna play it anymore. it's giving me headache. urgghh.
3 mores days of 'holidays' before its back to incessant work.
you know what, come to think of it, i dont mind retaining if i dont do well..
but then again, i dont want to.

it saddens me how some senior citizens are being neglected.
i mean, i know what happens to them doesnt play a role in my life or smth, but the feeling of looking at them feeling sad hurts me too. sigh. what's wrong what's wrong?
once, this year, i saw an old lady crossing the road by herself, i teared...
yesterday, i saw a grandfather, probably, with his grandchild on the bus, i missed my grandfathers suddenly..
it's so ubiquitous to see the elderlies being abandoned or left alone by their children..
it's just so sad..
i mean, they're like old and sensitive and the way they are abandoned doesnt help to soothe their feelings at all, right?
does it hurt to show a little concern?
it's such a happy thing to see old people smile..
they are all our life treasure after all.. because they are who we should learn from (well most of them anyways). they are the ones who have been through a lot, dont you think?
compare a 70 yr old and 17 yr old. the former will have more stories to tell.. people dont say grandmother/grandfather's story for nothing..
this entry is not directed to anyone in particular la..
it's just something ive been thinking of lately.. heh.
oh and im proud to say that i love my grandmother and i kiss her everyday.
but im sad to say i didnt kiss my late grandmother(dad's side) when she passed away.
it's just one of the few regrets i have...
yup.

i should really learn to be more frugal..
ive been spending money like nobody's business and whine at the end of the day of how much money ive spent.. not on clothes or anything like that, but FOOD.
FOOD FOOD FOOOD.
cant they be cheaper?
siigh...
i just cant say no to my stomach!
i have too many cravings that i cant stand myself!
i mean like, if i spend money on clothes or smth at least i can use them so many times.. but food can only be eaten JUST LIKE THAT. the next thing you know, they're gone and more fats will be accumulated inside my body. damn.
but food is just such a wonderful creation..
cheese sausages, chocolate waffles, MCFLURRY, lime sundae, hot fudge sundae, BK burgers.. hurhur. just to name a few junks which i have been eating for the past few days. and oh YES! ramly burger!!! arghh my mouth is watering now.
damn. just stop it. STOP IT!
i shall control my desire for food starting from.. NOW. i think.
anyways, photos from last thur when i met up with cheryl, amelia, michelle, royston and pekshia and we went to eat at banquet causeway point, speaking of which, i feel like eating the laksa there. :s

it felt sooooo gooood to be able to catch up with these crazy pple! hahahah! that was when i developed a weeny bit of sorethroat cos i think we all talked a lot and LAUGHED a lot! :D
on sunday, met up with the besties! we went to yishun park and huda taught us, not really, but in a way, how to rollerblade! :D amelia didnt try it out! not fair!! hahahah. then we went to eat INSTANT NOODLES under a void deck. it tasted sooo good. mmm.. hahahah. after that went to northpoint for awhile, and we separated. hahah so drama. ok. anyways, even though it wasnt a very long gathering but i had fun too! because i dont see hayati, amelia and huda everyday right?? and you know what, we didnt take ANY photos. damn. how could we?? oh well.. haha
one more problem i need to address. i really should STOP sleeping during tutorials and lectures! my malay teacher caught me and she was like "what's wrong madhiah?! ah? ur eyes are crossed already trying to stay awake!" thankfully after that, i woke up. and i woke up also because of "Shikeen's Secret" hahaha. ok inside joke.
i MUST work hard now. BLOCK TESTS COMING! bubbyeee~!

hi everyone!!

i just got home from another camp ystd.. so freakin fun ah. hahah
okay maybe i should update about negeri sembilan.
i miss KAMPUNG LONEK ah.. but not so much anymore. ;)
on the first day, we went to an orphanage in Malacca i think.. it was worth the experience. ive never went to an orphanage before in my whole life and being able to interact with the children there is a blessing.. most of them can sing very well and they were very friendly when we started talking. we played a few rounds of Concentration and it was fun la basically. (:
next, we went to a museum.. okay it was cool..
we checked into our hotel rooms at about 8pm i think.. my phone wasnt working, still.. bad mood ah.. hahaha. ok not really. turned out tt it was vesak day, so the autoroaming for my phone was still not activated,.. haha. we took lots of photos at the hotel.. we snuck out at night to walk around the resort. oh it was at Tiara Beach Resort btw. there were other pple who came back as late as 3AM!! hahah
it was a beautiful place la.. really! (:
we left the hotel the next morning for the rest of the tour.. we went to some shrine.
this is a photo of faiz with his hand inside the 'Lie Detector'. the hole will supposedly shrink if we tell a lie.. but it didnt happen to any of us in this case. we were very good liars.. hahahah
we reached kampung lonek at about noon and had our lunch there. my foster parents are Pakcik Ibrahim and Makcik Hasnah (i think). i dont have photos of them together ah.. sad.. we learnt how to weave baskets.. yup.

then we visited the house beside where i was staying. the house is usually used for shooting films.. we(sery, huiyu, aileen and me) went to that house at night to visit our teachers to show off our batik sarongs la.. hahah and we saw some of the suria crew! they were filming Suriani (i dunno how to spell her name) for a new film series called "Jom Makan Angin!" or smth.. and we got to be in the video! hahaha. embarrassing.. i think i looked like a fool. hahahah
this was our room at our foster parents' house.. we didnt sleep here though. because it was obviously too small. so we slept at the verandah or smth.. actually i dunno if thats the correct place where we slept la.. but nvm. it's like a living room liked place, without the tv.. it was sooo cold at night!! even with the windows closed! cool right?? hahah. and we slept with lightsticks! huda joined us cos she was grouped with the cikgus. and the cikgu allowed her to sleepover with us! hahah
the next day we learnt how to make lemang and DODOLs! and we saw suriani again.. hahahthat's nurul and shikeen and some of the mothers there.
after that, we got to attend a wedding. most of us were wearing blue!

later part of the day, we went to Teratak Za'ba. Za'ba stands of Zainul Abidin bin Ahmad i think.. yeah. he was a scholar and was very well known. this pic was taken under the house.

oh and then!! we went to a dragronfruit plantation. OMGSH I LOVE DRAGONFRUITS SINCE LIKE FOREVER! and they had pink flesh dragronfruit and theyre sooooo sweeeet!!! should have bought more... theyre sold at like RM7 per kg. sigh.. oh well. haha

Basically bowling kelapa is like you bowl using the coconut la.. and my grp won! woohoo!! the 2nd game is like we are supposed to stand facing our partners and there's a gap between us. we're supposed to pass the water balloon to each other and after each round, we are instructed to move a step behind, meaning the gap gets bigger each time. so the further you are, the more you love ur partner. yeah.. hahahaha.
tarik upih, is like a telematch...upih is palm leaves or smth.. i dunno what it's called ah. lol. one person will pull another who's sitting on the big leaf to the other side.. then the pair will move the other side.. and so on..

ive to admit, the music was really good.
the traditional music there is called the 'Caklempong'
after the performance, which ended at about 10.40pm(because we had supper after that too.. we got to eat the dodol and lemang made earlier on), we went to my foster dad's sister's brick house where his mother was there, ie my foster grandmother.. the house was really nice with the garden rooftop! we ate AGAIN there. omgsh i swear my stomach felt like bursting! hahah
the nightmare came when we slept that night. oh before that, we found huda in our room. she came while we were away.. so she was alone for that 2 hours of our absence.. so poor thing. ahaha. so anyways, at night, i woke up with my stomach feeling terrible! i woke sery up to accompany me to the toilet. luckily the lights were on, so i wasnt too scared. the 2nd time i woke up, i didnt wake anyone up. yup. i had diarrhoea la. gosh. painful experience.. but had fun anyways. :D
on the way home the next day, we dropped by Mini Malaysia at Melaka. there were performances there.. we got to see the various kind of houses found in Malaysia. quite cool la.. if only singapore has that kinda houses. we need variety man! hahah. oh best part of all, we got to shop for souvenirs!! oh ya, on the way home also we visited a museum somewhere in negeri sembilan where cikgu said fell. it was scary man..
overall, it was a wonderful trip. i wish we could go back to the carefree life there.. i got to talk to people whom i never talked to in school before.. learn how to live like a kampung girl.. hahahah riight.
anyways, Camp Ampas was also great! omgsh this post is gonna be soooo looooooong. so yea, camp ampas.. i was grouped in Mak Dara which rocked so much. hahah. i missed the Amazing Race though. because i had to go for my dental appointment. it was a 2D 1N camp, so at night, we had a night trail. it was interesting la basically because we got wet and dirty. we were sabo-ed with flour and water.. and made into fools whereby we had to jump and crawl around like nobody's business with our blindfolds on.. hahahh. the drama part was greaat. i got to act like i never acted before. some of the drama pple from tp came to facilitate us. the SpaceJump part was so fun!! it's like, there are 4 of us in a grp. first person will act out any random scene, then the next person will just join in and act a completely different scene and the 1st person will just follow suit, then the 3rd person will join in and act out another random scene and the other 2 will go with the flow and so on ah.. yup. really fun. we slept in the container classroom and jannah, our senior, said we were like banglas. cos we hung our dirty clothes outside and slept in containers. haha hilarious!
overall, i had a great 3 weeks of non stop camps. haha riight. 3 camps in 3 weeks. ive never had so much fun in a matter of weeks! surprisingly, i didnt get very homesick. this must mean im used to it already. YAY! but the thing is, my bag is never small when it comes to camps. damn. hurr.. okay back to stress all over again. PW. BLOCK TESTS. ughh...
k BYEEE! i feel sleepy again. oh wait. ive somemore things to update about!!!

okay maybe ill do that tonight or another time. my fingers are tired already. i stopped halfway just now to go out with the girls.. i continued once i reached home. see? see the amount of time i took to update! if only i had updated earlier. hurhur. k lah.. ill update sooon again! tata~!

back from negeri sembilan!
i loved it there!

and now we only have 2 photos of IMRAN the cutie! he's a baby btw.
anyways, ill update more in depth about the trip next time.
we reached school at about 12plus AM last night, or rather, this morning..
and only slept at about 2am.
and the previous night, some of us suffered from diarrhoea, INCLUDING ME, but i think mine was the most serious cos i shat like 7 times in total. hurr.
ok ill update more next time.
so freakin sleepy.
i slept so much in school just now.
thankfully chem test was postponed.
econs test was manageable i think, but im not sure how i'll fare.. i didnt know it was a 45min test laa.. i even slept during the first few minutes.
ok i shall stop here.
NEED REST. NEED TO STUDY CHEMISTRY!
